A Pokémon battle (Japanese: ポケモンバトル Pokémon battle, ポケモンしょうぶ Pokémon fight in older content) is a form of competition between Pokémon. In these battles, one or more of the Pokémon is typically owned and trained by a person, its Pokémon Trainer, in order to win. In this RP, there are two ways to conduct a Pokémon battle:
Traveling Trainers:
- Battle Simulator: Using Pokémon Showdown's battle simulator, you will be able to conduct a full on Pokémon battle with your Pokémon as if you were playing the real thing. As a bonus, if you want to earn more Pokédollars you can RP the battle out with your partner after the conclusion of the simulation.
- Roleplaying: You can also revert to the original form of roleplaying. This way is usually for pokemon who don't have access to the battle simulator.
Traveling Trainers:
- Sometimes you have a chance to meet traveling trainers, who will challenge you to a battle. It is up to you whether or not to accept them. However, upon defeating a traveling trainer, you will be rewarded glorious amounts of Pokédollars. These trainers, however, are very powerful and are considered to be Pokémon Masters.
